Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Rastafari (A Kirilyuk LLC). By creating an account, booking an artist or buying a course you accept them.

What Rastafari is

Rastafari is a directory where you can find dreadlock and braid artists, book appointments with them and buy online courses. The artists are independent. They, and not Rastafari, provide the hair services and are responsible for them.

Accounts

• Give correct information and keep your sign-in safe.
• Artists must only list their own work, prices and studio, and keep them up to date.
• We may remove listings or accounts that are false, abusive or break the law.

Booking and deposits

Booking a service always asks for a deposit, paid securely through Stripe: 20% of the price, at least 10 EUR (or the whole price if it is lower). If the artist has not set a price, the deposit is a fixed 25 EUR. The deposit is due even if the artist has not yet connected Stripe payouts; the artist receives their share once they do. The time stays reserved for 30 minutes while you pay.

• Cancel at least 48 hours before the appointment and the whole deposit is refunded.
• If you do not come, or cancel later, the deposit is kept. 50% goes to the artist for the lost time and the rest stays with Rastafari.
• If you come, your first deposit with Rastafari is a booking fee that we keep. On later visits the deposit is paid to the artist and you pay the rest of the price at the studio.
• If the artist cancels, you always get the whole deposit back.

Payouts to artists

Artists receive their share of deposits through Stripe Connect and must complete Stripe's identity check. Until they do, their share waits and is paid once they finish.

Courses

A course gives you a personal right to watch it on Rastafari. Do not share your access, copy the videos or resell them. Some lessons are free to watch without paying.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. We may hide reviews that are abusive, fake or unrelated.

Liability

We do our best to keep the site running, but we cannot promise it is always available or error free. Artists are responsible for their services. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
